How to get to Isla Mujeres?

The magical town of Isla Mujeres belongs to Quintana Roo, Mexico, and it is located in the north of the state in the Caribbean Sea, it is a small island located just 20 minutes from Cancun, it measures 7 kilometers long and 500 meters wide.

Isla Mujeres has the most beautiful beaches in the world, one of the most famous beach is Playa Norte, which it was in ‘the 25 best beaches in the world’ in Travelers Choice 2020 Awards.

To enjoy Isla Mujeres, first, you have to go to Cancun:

At the Cancun International Airport, the first option you have is: Take a taxi to go to one of the ferry terminals to Isla Mujeres. The transfer is approximately 30 minutes.

Another option could be, when you are at Cancun International Airport you can take an ADO that takes you to the ADO Terminal in downtown Cancun, and then take a taxi to the “Gran Puerto” ferry terminal in Puerto Juárez. (It is the closest terminal from the ADO in the center)

FERRY STATIONS IN HOTEL ZONE

The Pier

It is located in Playa Linda, at 4 km of Kukulcan Boulevard. Trajectory takes 35 minutes from this point.

Snail Beach

It is located in the Hotel Zone, at 9.5 km of Kukulcan Boulevard. From here the journey takes 35 minutes.

Turtle Beach

It is located at 6.5 km of Kukulcan Boulevard. From here the journey takes 35 minutes.

GRAND PORT TERMINAL

Puerto Juarez

It is located in the downtown area of the city and this terminal offers the lowest prices and the greatest number of schedules per day. From here the journey takes 18 minutes. And departures ferrys are each 30 minutes. 

At Isla Mujeres, you can take taxi or golf car to move around the island.

To get MIA Reef Isla Mujeres All Inclusive, you can go to taxi stand that it’s just next to the Ferry Stations and take a taxi to the Hotel.
